valentines

i woke up feeling just like the usual during this year's valentines day. well, yea there's this bit of uneasiness ofcourse while staring at the happy couples and girls receiving whatsoever from their boyfriends but i just shrugged the thought i mean, who doesnt get used at my state? 18 years of not receiving anything for valentines day is what seems normal to me. 

the school required us to wear either white or red anything so i hopped into school putting on my red cardigan and wondering why i didnt choose to have my usual comfy white that day. as i was entering BA class, i was all smiley due to unknown reasons and so are my friends. our prof is often 10 minutes late and valentines day isnt an exception to his schedule. after putting my bag i waddled outside and talked a bit with some of leo and kim. when we decided to get in, i saw a note and a rose in my chair and my feelings were beyond words. it was all mixed up. i was shocked and happy but somehow i thought maybe some person accidentally placed it on my chair instead of having it on somebody else's or that my friends are just playing around putting it in my place to just check out my reaction, but they were looking at me with big smiles on thair faces and i was like just like "omg take it off my seat or just burn it" while laughing along frantically and they were saying that it was from daniel padilla. boohoo my ass. who are you guys tryina kid? lol. my commotion wasnt really done yet when our prof came and we took our seats and i was still holding back my emotions while my friends are silently laughing, looking at me, excited on what i'd do with the stuffs. our prof started talking a bit about how we'd just list of our names cause he wouldnt hold a lecture for that day but i was already thrilled cause no one really objected that the rose and the note wasnt for me so i started on checking them, slowly peeking at the note. i instantly knew who owned that penmanship and it was from my friend/seatmate juliecakes. and i thanked her for lettin me experience that little but heart warming surprise, then suddenly, as some of my friends are now approaching, julie was still laughin with tears falling down her cheeks the same time and its just so adorable because the reason why she did it is just to make me happy cause she knew that i havent had any of those valentine tricks yet.

later on, after our break, during our religious education time, leo, siu, and earl, along with aden decided to give out roses for some selected girl classmates and i was kind of part of it so i received my second rose. that day ended great with talks, laughs, and watching campus zumba experience for my friends. though my sight was filled with couples giving each other overly expensive bouquets of flowers and chocolates, i was too happy with my note and two roses from my friends to mind how i didnt get to have those extravaganzas. 

the roses are now stuffed in my algebra book beneath my accounting reads so that it'd somehow be preserved. hihi and i also bought a valentine gift for myself; a new book! Kristin Cashore's Fire.

thankful for the wonderful people around me. figure out what julie wrote! haha

 Roydin also gave me a fortune cookie before leaving our BA classroom and it says
"Your love life will be happy and harmonious." well, let's hope for the best! haha
